Sorry to hear that, but not surprised. This is clearly a mistake and you need to take the matter up with Origin. I would also recommend reaching out to StopSmartMeters.com.au which is our sister site in Australia. They will be able to give you better, more local advice than we can here in the UK.

My power service provider SP Ausnet installed their smart meter a few months back and recently I had an appointment at my doctors and as I hadn’t had a blood test or a urine test for my type 2 diabetes or my benign prostatitis and during my consultation with a doctor I asked to have these tests referred to pathology. I had been previously diagnosed with benign prostatitis since 1997 and after the tests came back the doctor called me in and told me that my PSA reading had doubled since the last test in June, 2012 and referred me to a urologist for further tests.
There has been a lot of conjecture about radiation levels related to power sources and I am starting to think that this smart meter has caused my prostate PSA to double from previous readings.
