The Swisscom patent clearly shows that mobile phone companies know wireless radiation is incredibly harmful to human biology.
Mar. 11, 2013 / PRLog / Swisscom AG, a major telecommunications provider in Switzerland, filed U.S. and international patent applications for an innovative system to reduce “electrosmog” from wireless local networks (i.e., Wi-Fi) in 2003.
This patent application acknowledged the cancer risk from exposure to wireless radiation eight years before the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer declared that radiofrequency energy, including cell phone and Wi-Fi radiation, is a “possible carcinogen” to humans, like DDT and lead. Furthermore, the application acknowledged that low-intensity, non-thermal exposures to wireless radiation is genotoxic. This is critical because the current U.S. [and UK – Ed.] regulatory standard for wireless radiation, established in 1996, does not protect us from non-thermal exposures.
According to this 2003 patent application, the “influence of electrosmog on the human body is a known problem.” (1) The application states:
“The health risk from mobile radio transmitters, handys (i.e., cell phones) and DECT (i.e., cordless) telephones has been an explosive subject among the general public at least since the enormous breakthrough in mobile radio technology in the 1990s. To meet the concerns of science from the legislative side, the permissible limit values have thus been lowered several times, and technology has been increasingly focused on this problem. The risk of damage to health through electrosmog has also become better understood as a result of more recent and improved studies. When, for example, human blood cells are irradiated with electromagnetic fields, clear damage to hereditary material has been demonstrated and there have been indications of an increased cancer risk (Mashevich et al., 2003) … an aneuploidy (=numerical chromosome aberration) – was observed as a function of the SAR, demonstrating that this radiation has a genotoxic effect … These findings indicate that the genotoxic effect of electromagnetic radiation is elicited via a non-thermal pathway. Moreover aneuploidy is to be considered as a known phenomenon in the increase of cancer risk.” (1) [emphasis added – Ed.]
The application further explains:
“Thus it has been possible to show that mobile radio radiation can cause damage to genetic material, in particular in human white blood cells, whereby both the DNA itself is damaged and the number of chromosomes changed. This mutation can consequently lead to increased cancer risk. In particular, it could also be shown that this destruction is not dependent upon temperature increases, i.e. is non-thermal. Based on the scientific studies in the field, and owing to increasing pressure from the public, especially in the industrialized countries, epidemiological studies have been systematized by the World Health Organization (WHO) in the last few years, such as e.g. the currently running WHO Interphone Project, in order to be able to assess more precisely the health risks from electrosmog and work out corresponding guidelines.”

Ten years after this patent was filed, the system is unavailable. How many other harm-reduction technologies have been patented by the Wireless Industry but never used to reduce our risk of cancer and other diseases associated with exposure to wireless radiation?
After its experience with tobacco and asbestos, it’s no wonder that the insurance industry will not provide product liability insurance to the Wireless Industry (2) [also see here – Ed.]. This patent application demonstrates that the Wireless Industry has known for many years the potential health risks from use of its technology. Yet the Industry continues to fight efforts to educate the public about these risks and blocks effective regulation of wireless radiation in the U.S. and in other countries.
Fifteen nations and the European Union have issued precautionary health warnings about cell phone radiation. However, efforts at the Federal, state, and local level in the U.S. have repeatedly been blocked by political and legal opposition from the CTIA, the Wireless Industry’s lobbying arm.
Instead, the Industry promotes installation of cell phone towers, Wi-Fi, and wireless Smart Meters everywhere without regard to the population’s overall exposure to microwave radiation. Many people are likely to suffer serious health consequences from this massive increase in electrosmog.
Based upon our nation’s experience with other industries like tobacco and asbestos, the Wireless Industry will likely procrastinate taking action to reduce harm until it is faced with huge product liability settlements. Unfortunately, it may take a while before such lawsuits are successful since the Industry has co-opted many scientists, and the scientific literature has mixed findings that enable industry experts to confuse juries.
Based upon the precautionary principle, policy makers should adopt effective regulation now to protect us from this emerging threat to public health. Strong public support is needed to overcome the Industry’s political power.

It is depressing, but any actions we can take to minimise – and help others minimise – exposures to these technologies will make a massive difference.
Does anyone out there subscribe to the theory that this is all part of the soft kill program by the NWO and their stated aim to reduce the world population by up to 95%; and that there is more to this than corporate greed? Why won’t they make it safer?
Exactly what I’ve thought for some time. A soft kill program that directly ties in to de-population. They have the money and plan decades ahead.
Yes Clive – this is absolutely a soft kill weapon along with all the others that we already know about. The human race is at war with the NWO and the NWO is winning hands down – unfortunately most people don’t yet realise this. I am more sorry than I can express to those that have children and grand children. However, we are here, now, at this time in the history of homo sapiens and we have to deal with this life as we experience it. It is not and will not be an easy fight. God help us all.
I’m sad to have to agree that it has to be deliberate at this stage, greed plus that other little agenda…but I have high hopes for the future! Imagine that this is the last “kicking and screaming” of a dying behemoth; people ARE becoming aware of what’s-been-going-on-for-too-long, and there are some really inspiring and innovative ideas for change coming through. It’s good to be aware of all the horrible doomy stuff so you can protect and prepare yourself, and it’s also the catalyst for knowing that you have to start taking responsibility for being part of the necessary change in whatever small way you can. There’s not going to be “one big answer” to the problems we face, but I think it will be a matter of teamwork – each one of us has something to contribute that, working together as a community, creates a solution. No one person is going to solve it on their own, but when people get together then things start to happen! We’re not helpless when we work together.
I think hte best thing we could ever do is to initiate litigation everywhere. Sue the schools for exposing our children to a class 2b cercinogen ALL day. Sue the city wher you live for forcing transmitting water meters. Cite all teh evidence available to date indicating nonthermal effects. Bring the cancer studies from Lennett Hardell. Bring hte WHO saying it is a possible carcinogen. Bring hte kitchen sink!! If there were hundreds or even thousands of these suits–they wouldtake notice. THAT is what needs to happen. Even if it were small claimscourt–we need to start somewhere. People do believe in the NWO. But they are afraid to speak about it because of e stigma attacked to believing it. Those who perpetrate these things always use that tacticto keep us quiet. They have usedthat tactic for ever because it is so effective. Most people are too stupid to see beyone the label of crazy, conspiricy theorist, paranoid, nut ball. All designed to keep the average ignorant citizen away fromthe truth–and it works like a charm. Absolutely!! This is a silent war, it is global crime but you have to nail the perpetrator for which you would need millions and millions of dollars. Microwaves have been used as directed weapons since the 1950’s see Barrie Trower on you tube and make sure you save it. Microwaves lower the immune system so that we will be more susceptible to the designer diseases that they have created; the food, air and water that they have poisoned deliberately. On top of that microwaves kill all pollinating insects. They know that, and they are beyond insane.
It is not true that we cannot do anything. You can get some orgonite and have a few around your house, put one of them on the power meter. That will eliminate any harmful effects of wireless radiation and emf. Reception is not affected.
Michael–I feel the exact same way. I wish more people would express their concernes. We are in the minority I believe because most people simply love the wireless so much that they can’t see the damae that it is causing. I am suffering from severe sensitivity to the wireless gadgets that everyone loves so much. I get severe head pain, burning in my skin, heart palpations etc from being around a mobile phone-even when it is not being used. It still sendsout a signal. It is frustrating becasue my life has become very small and difficult now. My children areexposed al day at school–they sit under a router for 6 1/2 hours. When they are with their father–they are exposed to cell phones, wifi, cordless everything you can think of–speakers, toys etc. I cannot keep them safe nd they have a father who is more addicted to this than anything. How do we stop teh giants in industry from destroying our children?? I have posed this many times nd most parents simply look at me like I am nuts. In fact, so does my husband. Nobody isinterested in reading the research-only the convenience that wirelss provides. So we have a money-hungry industry suported by addicted subscribers who willl believe anything to ‘get their fix’/ It has to be a very powerful drug, indeed, if regula parents are willing to sacrifice their kids to get it. Sad, but true. Join a movement or start on. No way we can let them win.
