Take Back Your Power

Utility companies are replacing electricity, gas and water meters worldwide with new generation “smart” meters at an unprecedented rate. Take Back Your Power investigates the benefits and risks of this ubiquitous “smart” grid program, with insight from insiders, expert researchers, politicians, doctors, and concerned communities. Transparency advocate Josh del Sol takes us on a journey of revelation and discovery, as he questions corporations’ right to tap our private information and erode our rights in the name of “green”. Stop Smart Meters! (UK) is thrilled to announce that the long-awaited, feature-length investigation of Smart Meters and Smart Grid, “Take Back Your Power”, will finally be released to the world on September 5th at 8pm BST. The film’s critical examination of the underbelly of ‘Smart’ Meters could not come at a more important time for the UK, as Big Energy’s marketing assaults on an unsuspecting public move into higher gear.

If you would like to help Josh’s team’s to continue their two-year long project to reach the largest possible audience with their outstanding film, please pre-order your stream or copy of the DVD today. We had the official UK premiere of the film at Get_Wired which was met with rave reviews – this final cut is even better.

The monies raised by the film-makers in this release will go towards ensuring that the team continue to promote and market the film to the widest possible audience. Their aims are to change how energy corporations across the globe are working with their customers and to instill a practice of transparency, accountability and fairness. We believe that it has the capability to achieve these goals if they can get the necessary support for their plans and efforts.

  1. Hi, I’m attempting to pre-order by clicking on the links that say,
“pre-order now” but all that happens is the size/shape of the pre-order box changes and I get no place to order and pay. Can you direct me to
the place where I can pre-order please? Also, it starts showing at 8pm which time zone?

    Looking forward to seeing it.
    Thanks,
    Eric

    • Sorry about that Eric, we’re investigating.
