“Three shrubs have been growing against the brick wall of this home for several years. They had such healthy and thick growth that a robin built her nest above the old electrical meter that had been here for years.
About three months ago, the old but perfectly servicable electric meter was removed and replaced with a ‘smart meter’ which sends information to the electrical utility company by microwave radiation signals.
This meter sends signals almost continuously, as can be seen and heard by the radio frequency meter readings. The damage caused by the radiation can be seen very clearly in this video. The harm to the shrub is much worse close to the meter and the damage decreases with the distance. At about three metres away, the shrub is quite healthy with bright green leaves. The leaves closest to the meter appear to be dried and diseased.
According to Health Canada, microwave radiation at this level, which is below their safety standards, does not cause biological harm.
The resident of this home has suffered sleep problems since the meter was installed.”

shrubs?? we have entire 75ft tall trees spapping in two here in oregon where they arent just killing us off with smartmeters but smartgrid compliant streetlights that are just popping up over night throughout the tricounty area here.look at your streetlights everywhere you go people.if they have the smartmeters in place they will be surrounding you with these nifty new surveilling streetlights.no one even sees them change out the old streetlights.they just “appear” all over the place here where im at.getting harder and harder to stay alive here as they erect this infastructure all around me.
wow…i noticed these new lamps here too…i never saw them getting installed, they just seem to be popping up and creeping in slowly…theyre creepy cos they give less light than the old ones…is that what yours are like??
I hope that the property’s owner sues the electric company for damages.
Did the robin relocate or was it killed by the radiation?
Money seems to be the only thing these greedy corporations understand. If the smart meter program starts costing them more than it is worth then they won’t be so keen on it. Just say no!

18 months ago my daughter & I both began getting sick. We started waking up with severe migraines & our joints were inflamed & ached.We had brain fog & my daughter developed an autoimmune illness that put her in the hospital every time one of her organs became inflamed & she could not stop vomiting. The Drs. couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her & then her eyes became inflamed & she went blind. One specialist after another did every test in the book and were baffled by her illness. Meanwhile my joints were so swollen that I could barely get out of bed or function. When I found out that a Smart Meter had been installed where I live exactly 18 mos. ago and that the measured levels of radiation coming thru the wall outlets in our bedrooms & lvg. rm.were over 600 I finally knew why we were so sick. I am still fighting to get this meter removed but 3 weeks ago I turned off the power to the bdrms from the breaker box and our health has already improved. Smart Meters R Evil !

I live in Ohio and I have been told that I cannot opt out of a smart meter being installed in my home. Our block is outraged and one of my neighbours has a son with a brain tumour what can we do to get out of this madness..

I live on a park home site in the UK our owner wants to force us all to have smart meters and to make us pay . In the UK we have a document called the notice of non-consent ,it becomes a violation of our HUMAN RIGHTS he or the energy companies can not make u have one ? We are SURE of the health risks. Check out http://www.bioinitiative.org. You do have the right, now, to say no, but must pay for it (that must be challenged legally) in Nevada. There is now an opt-out there.

I was told by my utility company that I had to get a new meter last year. The woman on the phone told me that I had NO CHOICE in the matter! I didn’t want a Smart Meter but they installed it anyway. No one informed me of the health hazards these meters impose on my family and I. My analog meter was less then 5 years old. There were no clear reasons to force me to get a new meter. People need to stand up and fight this before you have to get one and start to get sick from it. The meters are NOT safety approved. Not only are they unsafe…..your bill will increase! If you attempt to replace it they will shut off your power. I know someone who did just that and they have been without power for weeks now. The meter gave off high levels of radiation and made them sick.

I am writing in regards to the “Smart Meter” that was installed on this property sometime between 2011 and 2012. The meters sit about 25 feet from two large Maple trees that provided evening shade for us.
Before that meter was installed, the 2 trees were thriving and healthy until last year in the Spring. We noticed that the leaves were very tiny. They never did fill out. This year, both trees are dead. We believe that the meter you installed killed those trees and request that you send someone out to remove them safely since they are also beside a metal electrical box that is on the ground.
We would also like compensated for replacement of the trees, and the Smart Meter safely contained behind aluminum mesh, so our family is not affected by whatever killed those trees.
The above is a draft of a letter I am sending to the power company. Does anyone else in Ohio have dead trees in line with your “Smart Meter”?

We we given a meter without our permission, warning, or anything. Since then, our bill has doubled, and my daughter and I are experiencing symptoms that have just occurred recently-probably since it was put on. I live in Mississippi, and requested that the meter be replaced with an analog meter. There is no group, here, to complain and make demands to the power companies.

To form a group, obtain some brochures and start educating your community. Find known activists working on other or similar issues (cell towers, cell phones, pollution) and inform them. Put together a group for your state in this manner.
